WAVERLY (Yoda Head) Martin Tuning heads from around 1939-1946. To my knowledge Martin last used these in 1946. My 1946 D-18 came with these as well. They received their nickname because they are profiled like Yoda’s head from the movie , The Empire Strikes Back. These are a rare find, and definitely in the condition these are in. If you’re looking for a set of these you will be hard pressed to find a better example of Prewar American Craftsmanship. All work as they should, post’s are straight, button shafts are straight and have not been straightened like many this age, gears are good and buttons are not cracked or split. The Six original bushings and all Twelve original screws are included. They will come in a Newer Waverly Box for secure shipping. No returns.
